The link between mycotoxins and mysterious chronic illnesses
Thank you for your continued support!
This is Kamei, owner of Gokujo Mold-Free Coffee.
Do you ever experience vague minor ailments (pre-disease) after drinking your daily cup of coffee, such as "my head feels foggy," "my stomach feels uneasy," or "my body feels sluggish," without a clear diagnosis?
In fact, I used to be one of those people. When I drank poor-quality coffee containing mycotoxins, I would suffer from severe headaches, indigestion, and body sluggishness, to the point where I couldn't move for an entire day. I had almost given up, thinking that coffee just didn't agree with my body, but the real cause was impurities, specifically mycotoxins hidden in the beans.
To get straight to the point, mycotoxins in coffee do not immediately cause acute poisoning. However, mycotoxins are highly resistant to heat and can persist even after high-temperature roasting. Therefore, it is said that repeatedly drinking coffee containing them can lead to an accumulation of unwanted noise in the body, causing unexplained ailments.
Since I started selling this mold-free coffee, I've been surprised by how many customers have told me similar stories, saying, "I also used to get headaches when I drank coffee" or "I forced myself to drink it despite indigestion." This has made me realize the seriousness of this problem anew.
This time, I will explain the connection between mycotoxins hidden in coffee and pre-disease conditions.
Those who eliminate the "four poisons" and suppress inflammation are more sensitive to notice
Recently, among health-conscious individuals, dietary methods that eliminate the "four poisons (wheat, vegetable oils, dairy products, and sweets)" and suppress chronic inflammation in the body have been gaining attention.
In fact, the more thoroughly people eliminate the four poisons and restore their healthy bodies, the more sensitive they become to "trace impurities and toxins" contained in coffee.
The cleaner the internal environment, the more sensitively receptors detect external noise such as trace harmful chemicals and mycotoxins in food, which are likely to manifest as temporary fatigue and gastrointestinal discomfort. (From a research report on chronic exposure and biological responses by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA))
Therefore, when such individuals switch to "mold-free coffee," they tend to experience the difference much more noticeably, often saying, "my head feels astonishingly clear" or "it permeates my body smoothly."
The blind spot of organic. Mold grows precisely because no preservatives are used.
Many people tend to think that "organic (organically grown) beans are safe," but there's a significant blind spot here.
Beans certified with organic JAS prohibit the use of any chemical agents or preservatives (post-harvest pesticides). Therefore, if humidity control is lax during the drying process on site or during several months of ocean transport, mold can occur more easily than with conventional beans.
That's why we don't just rely on an image or differentiation from other companies; we conduct strict mycotoxin inspections by public institutions. Furthermore, we adhere to a process of thoroughly removing defective beans, which pose a risk of mold, by hand.
Summary: A Clean Experience Created by Thorough Subtraction
The most important thing for maintaining health in modern times is not to add good things to the body, but to thoroughly eliminate bad things.
Similar to eliminating the four poisons, our coffee is "clean coffee from which unnecessary elements have been subtracted to the maximum extent."
There is no need to be bothered by coffee-induced ailments, as I once was, and as many customers are now. Experience for yourself how gentle on the body and how clear it makes your mind and body when you receive a cup from which the noise of mycotoxins has been removed.
We look forward to your continued patronage.
