Mycotoxins and infertility
I'm Kamei, owner of Gokujo Mold-Free Coffee.
The causes of infertility are diverse, but recent research has highlighted the possibility that environmental hormones and toxins in food act as "endocrine disruptors," hindering the ability to conceive. One of the prime examples of these is mycotoxins.
1. The Threat of Mycotoxins as "Xenoestrogens"
Some mycotoxins are substances called "xenoestrogens," which mimic the function of female hormones (estrogen) in the body.
A particularly well-known one is "zearalenone," which can be found in grains and coffee beans. When ingested, it can be mistaken for a real hormone and bind to receptors, disrupting the natural hormonal balance. This is suggested to potentially affect ovulation disorders, implantation failure, and even the quality and quantity of sperm in males.
2. Mitochondrial Activity and Egg/Sperm Quality
Egg and sperm cells require a great deal of energy. The source of that energy is "mitochondria" found within the cells.
Dave Asprey, author of "The Bulletproof Diet," warns that mycotoxins directly inhibit mitochondrial function, significantly reducing cellular energy production. Cells that are starved of energy may lose the ability to properly carry out crucial processes such as fertilization and division.

3. "Chronic Inflammation" Impedes Implantation Environment
For the body to enter a "nurturing new life" mode, it is ideal for the mother's body to be in a calm state, free from inflammation.
However, continuous intake of mycotoxins stimulates the body's immune system, leading to a state of chronic inflammation. Inflammation can affect the endometrial environment and immune balance, becoming one of the factors that impede implantation. To perform at its best, it is important to practice "subtraction," eliminating impurities and minimizing the level of inflammation in the body.
🛡️ A "Clean Cup" for Your Future Family
During fertility treatment, every morsel you put in your mouth becomes a sensitive issue. That's why, even for a luxury item like coffee, we need to go beyond "just organic" and pursue ultimate cleanliness.
-
Avoid the risk of hormone disruption with mold-tested beans
-
Minimize intake of unwanted chemicals with organic beans
-
Protect cells from oxidative damage by choosing fresh beans
Gokujo Mold-Free Coffee, which permits no impurities, gently yet powerfully supports your body's inherent "power to nurture healthy life" from within.
